Recovery after mining

What the land inside the mining footprint looks like from space, year by year (1990–2025)

Managed restoration

After mining, most of the land became farmland or tree crops, or vegetation came back fast and evenly, as after planting.

Footprint polygons: 2
Ever disturbed: 0.6 ha
Vegetation back: 0.6 ha
Abandoned ≥ 5 years, still bare or water: 0 ha

Figures are sums over all polygons; the status of a group is the status with the largest area.
